We take care of new builds from the design stage right through to completion. Inspections
Pre-Purchase Building Inspection
When buying a house for yourself, an investment property or commercial building, it is important to know the condition of the electrical installation of your prospective purchase as unknown or unforeseen problems can soon consume a substantial portion of your equity, your time and your mind.
By having a pre-purchase electrical inspection carried out by a registered electrical inspector, you’ll have a detailed report that will give you peace of mind. Banks and insurance companies are increasingly requesting such inspections and can provide checks when needed.
Caravans & Motorhomes
GEI can carry out the required inspection and issue an Electrical Warrant of Fitness for you caravan or motorhome. If required we can also carry any necessary repairs and modifications.

Ventilation
It makes sense to use free energy to warm your home, it makes sense to ventilate your home with dry air replacing damp air. By ventilating your home with warm dry air it gradually dries out the interior of your home making it easier to keep warm. Carpet, bedding and curtains dry out making the environment you live in more pleasant and warm. Windows don’t tend to stream with water to the same extent that they would have, and nasties like mould and carpet bugs find it difficult to exist as it becomes just too dry, this makes your living conditions warmer, dryer and a more healthier place to be.
Heat Pumps
We supply and install a range of different heat pumps. Heat pumps are an effective and efficient way to heat and cool your home.GEI have qualified installers who can install owner supplied units or we can supply and install a range of units including Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Panasonic & Hitachi.
We also offer servicing on your already installed units at a great price. By servicing your heat pump regularly you are ensuring it is running efficiently and maintaining its warranty.
Extract Fans
Are you tired of having steam in your bathroom? Is your current fan just not keeping up? Or do you not have one at all? We can advise you what will best suit your needs. Often when houses are built the cheapest or smallest fans are installed just so the developers can comply with basic requirements. Usually theses fans are not up to the job.
